Arrived Friday night, hitting the ground running. Been applying all over the place, but now that I'm back States-side, I've been talking to my buddy Vaha back in Seattle, and by mid next week I should have a template up for the new site - the rest of which will be launched shortly! For real this time. Greetings from Oslo, Norway! Have been here about 3 weeks already for the International Summer School at the University of Oslo. Am taking a course in Peace Research, as well as a Professional Development Seminar.  Another 3 weeks to go here, then a week of traveling around the region/country/wherever - and then the big change - New York City! Am going to give something new a try and attempt to break into my field some more. Have already applied to one internship and have some leads for another couple; we'll see how it pans out. Just really wanted a change. Speaking of changes,...

Well, obviously I've not been as active with this as I'd intended -- this will be changing soon! After finishing my university studies, I didn't do as much photography work during my internship as I'd anticipated, and then was busy finding a job, then supposedly busy working... the cycle continues. However, I do have some new work that I need to get up here. Am also toying with redoing the site design a bit before I leave the country again, so we'll see how that pans out. I have some new shots from my recent trip to Amsterdam and Kenya, so some favorites will be up shortly, as well as work from...

Hey all! Thanks so much for the support of the new site; I'm quite pleased with things! Still figuring out a few kinks, and gradually going through some photos to add. What's new: I added a new gallery for Fashion, with shots from the Nordic Heritage Museum's Arctic Summer fashion show during Sweden Week in Seattle in May 2010. I also added the photo essay I Am Keffiyeh, with photos of keffiyehs which people were wearing during pro-Gaza protests here in Seattle after Israeli military ships attacked a humanitarian aid flotilla heading to besieged Gaza.
